Engine Rebuilders Warehouse, inc. had its origins in the 1970's when Peterson Equipment Salesman Jim Zell and Ray Christian began selling Regis, Sioux, Lisle and other Machine Shop supplies out of the Christian's home in Hollywood, Florida. The shop supply business was a foot in the door to the growing Machine Shop business in Florida and in 1980, Ray and Doris Christian formed Engine Rebuilders Warehouse and opened a small warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale off of Stirling Rd.
Engine Parts were added to the shop supply business and the business quickly grew. The original warehouse was too small for the growing engine parts inventory so ERW moved into a larger space in the same commerce center. In 1989, ERW moved to a larger warehouse in Davie where we expanded once into a neighboring bay until finally outgrowing that space and moving into our current location in Dania Beach in 2006.
